Quick answer
The Mini Cloud Plush Blanket is a larger, weighted-style comfort blanket for older babies and adults, while the Ruffled Security Blanket Set is a smaller, portable lovey designed for infant self-soothing.
Size and portability trade-off
The Mini Cloud Plush Blanket is a generous 30x40 inches, offering a substantial surface for cuddling or draping. The Ruffled Security Blanket Set is a compact 16x16 inches, purpose-built for tiny hands to grasp and carry. If you need a blanket that stays in the crib or on the couch, the Mini Cloud Plush works well. If you want something your baby can take in the car or to daycare, the security blanket is the practical choice.
Fabric feel and function
The Mini Cloud Plush uses a proprietary fabric blend that is dense yet light, with a gentle stretch that creates a hugging sensation. It has real weight and grounded pressure. The Ruffled Security Blanket is made from a premium polyester/rayon blend, the same ultra-soft, breathable material as the original knit swaddle blankets, with a slight stretch for comfort. The Cloud Plush is about sensory grounding; the security blanket is about familiar softness for self-soothing.
